While 51.9% agreed that good looks help spark initial romance, 49.9% stressed that appearance fades over time and shouldn't be a core criterion for marriage. Notably, 81.2% expressed willingness to continue contact even if a first date’s appearance fell short of expectations, prioritizing long-term compatibility and personality over initial looks.
